Working across the organisation, your core responsibilities will be to take ownership of the key financial models, supporting decision-making, strategic planning, and financial performance management within the organisation by providing accurate financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision making.
This includes owning the financial model, ensuring monthly updates with revised forecasts and modelling new strategic new initiatives impacting the organisation
Ideally you will have the following background:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance roles, demonstrating expertise in financial modelling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to relate numbers to the business.
- Ability to forge strong business relationships.
We are looking for someone with high commercial acumen, high levels of energy, strong interpersonal skills and capable of analysing significant amounts of data. A strong understanding of business performance metrics, financial reporting, and forecasting methodologies is essential. Proven analytical experience in corporate finance/deals roles in a professional services firm or large corporate is preferred.
Advanced financial modelling skills are essential for the role in order to maintain the corporate model and provide ad-hoc analysis at the request of Senior Managers and the Executive Leadership team.
Applicants will possess a relevant Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or Accounting, and be ideally CFA Qualified (or working towards a CFA qualification).
