Senior Accountant - 6 Month Contract

This is a contract role which oversees financial operations including managing monthly accounts, cashflow forecasts and audits. This role will be focused on delivering various finance projects and ensuring they are rolled out efficiently.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the key responsibilities will include:

• Monthly management accounts
• Monthly P&L and cashflow reforecast
• Monthly performance report
• Audit coordination and support
• Completing month end reporting processes including balance sheet reconciliations
• Statutory compliance – Review PAYE, FBT and GST
• Assisting the business in the ongoing improvement of its financial processes and reporting systems  
• Ad hoc duties to support the Group Financial Controller

The ideal candidate will be a NZ Chartered Accountant of CPA qualified who is ideally Big 4 trained. Your technical accounting skills will be second to none. Excellent communications skills are also highly valued as will your ability to interact and build relationships with all levels within the organisation and the wider group.
